Welcome to 4712: Year of the Horse!

What does year of the horse mean for you?  Like the animal itself, Horse years are full of energy (sexual and otherwise), excitement and physical stamina.  Horse years also have the power to inspire rash decisions, so if you are prone to impulsivity, you need to pay close attention to the choices you make this year.. However, if you are a person who drags their feet making decisions, this year will inspire decisiveness.

Horse years are excellent for business.  Globally, there should be a marked improvement in the economy.  On a more personal scale, if you have been thinking about expanding or building a business, this is the year to do it.

Each year of the Chinese zodiac is associated with an animal, and also with an element.  This year is a WIND Horse year.  You may have noticed that it has been a particularly windy year so far.  The wind element also adds to the overall excitement and movement of this year.  “Wind,” years are also a time for far off travel – as far off as the wind can blow!

In Chinese Medicine, we believe that wind can exacerbate certain health issues such as migraines, sinus infections and anxiety.  People prone to these ailments will need to pay extra attention this year to manage these issues.
